One of my favorite routines is the Number of the Day program. This is a comprehensive, year-long activity that helps all students understand numbers with built-in support. There are two levels for differentiation for each grade, and there are various versions to introduce new concepts or provide review. The different layouts allow for personalized learning, and while everyone works on the same activity, you can provide targeted instruction to small groups or individuals.
