Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I wanted to share a bit about my journey in education and why I decided to start this blog.

I've been working in education for 23 years now. I began as a Child Youth Worker in a small class setting, helping students with self-regulation and social skills. I loved supporting their growth towards independence.

After 14 years, I earned my teaching degree and embarked on a new chapter in my career. I brought my experience as a Child Youth Worker into my classroom routines, making sure to create a supportive and structured environment for my students.

When the Covid pandemic hit, I found myself teaching grade 3 online. This was a whole new challenge, but it pushed me to rethink how I created lessons and routines. My goal was to ensure every student felt included and engaged throughout the day.

Now, I'm back in a small class setting, working with grade 1-3 students who need extra support with self-regulation, communication, social skills, and school readiness. This experience has inspired me to develop lessons and routines that can be adapted for any classroom and any student.

I hope to share some of these ideas and experiences with you here. Whether you're an educator, a parent, or just curious about education,
I hope you find something helpful and inspiring. Welcome to my blog!
